SUMMER AT SOUTH
Does your child enjoy shooting hoops? Love creating and drawing? Want to try a new sport like football or field hockey? LuSo Summer Camp offers a variety of athletic and enrichment activities with morning and afternoon sessions available.
From playing tennis to the trombone, we have coaches and instructors who offer positive reinforcement. Your campers will have fun while learning a new skill.
Join us for Lutheran Day at the Ballpark when the Cardinals take on the White Sox on Sunday, May 5 at 1:15 p.m.
Tickets are $25 ($60 face value) in the Right Field Loge and include a free hot dog and soft drink. Fashionistas be ready, the first 25,000 fans 16 and older will receive the high-demand Cardinals purse giveaway. This tan handbag features a gold metal chain and a mystery bonus strap!
Stick around following the game to watch the Lancers take on the Sullivan Eagles. Kids, 15 & under, get to run the bases between the games.

Should it be Pfund Field or Pfield? You decide!
Join us as we dedicate our baseball field on Friday, May 3 to legendary coach Roy Pfund. The dedication will take place before the varsity game vs. Rockwood Summit. Coach Pfund will throw the first pitch at 4:25 p.m.
Ballpark food will be served in the stadium pavilion following the dedication. Hard hat tours will be available for those interested in seeing the new construction. Please RSVP and cast your vote for the field name. Donations will go toward establishing a scholarship in Coach Pfund's name.

Best Buddies Friendship programs aim to foster one-to-one friendships between high school students with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Best Buddies chapter at Lutheran South is so excited to provide an opportunity for any local current or incoming high school student with an intellectual or developmental disability to participate in an afternoon of movies, crafts, and games! We hope you will join us for some fun and friendships.
Parents are welcome to drop off or stay for the fun!
CHEER TRYOUTS
LuSo students are invited to try out for the Lancer Cheer Team. Cheer clinics will be held Monday, April 15 through Wednesday, April 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tryouts are on Thursday, April 18 at 5:00 p.m.
Tryouts for incoming freshmen and transfer students will be held in May. Clinics are on Monday, May 13 and Tuesday, May 14, and tryouts are on Wednesday, May 15, with each day running from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Participation is mandatory for all students on all dates.

A Gameday Squad and Competition Team will be selected. Prior cheer, gymnastics, or dance experience is not required, but it is a plus.

LANCERETTE TRYOUTS
The Lancerette season runs from August through February. The squad practices four times a week and performs at all home football and basketball games. Participation in additional fall and winter sports is not permitted.
New this year: A total of 20 girls max will be selected. The Competition squad will include 12-14 members. An additional 6-8 members will make up the Gameday squad.

Tryouts for current LuSo students are Monday, March 25 through Thursday, March 28 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Incoming freshmen are invited to try out on Thursday, May 16 and Friday, May 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Participation is mandatory on all tryout dates. Wear comfortable clothes and tennis or jazz shoes.

MOUSE RACES

Royale Orleans
Join us for Mouse Races on Friday, June 7 to benefit the Lutheran South football program. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. at Royale Orleans.
Tickets are $30 each or $250 for a table of 10. Bring your own food and snacks. An open bar is included. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.
